SJU safety team receives regional recognition
Life Safety, EMT Services and the Fire Department at SJU have been named Team of the Year by the St. Cloud Public Safety Foundation for their response to a cardiac event last year during an SJU football game.

Professors begin to add artificial intelligence policies to class syllabi
CSB+SJU faculty met at the beginning of the semester to have a conversation about how artificial intelligence fits into academics. Professors were encouraged to formulate individual policies for class syllabi based on each professor's outlook on how AI should be used in their courses.
Student leadership center rebrands and relocates
The Center of Student Leadership and Engagement, formerly known as Student Activities and Leadership Development, has moved from its previous home in Murray Hall to new offices in Mary Hall. The center is recentering its initiatives around student leadership development.
Inauguration ceremony celebrates first joint president
In a historic first, and more than a year after taking office, President Brian Bruess was officially inaugurated as the joint president of both the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University. Bruess joins the ranks of 12 past CSB presidents and 19 past SJU presidents.
Harvard professor presents higher education research
Susan Dynarski focused on higher education inequalities during the annual Clemens Lecture Series on Monday evening. Throughout the presentation, she explained her part in helping create a scholarship program that offered college students full four-year financial assistance.
