CSB+SJU to celebrate historic joint inauguration
Preparations are in full swing for President Brian J. Bruess's inauguration Sept. 22. Various campus events are planned for Sept. 18-24, under the theme "Together We Flourish." Students are encouraged to participate in the festivities all week long on both campuses.
Multicultural Center welcomes new assistant director to role
Claudia Timmann will specialize in assisting international students in their acclimation to college life, as well as working with students and staff to plan Multicultural Center events. Timmann enters her new role with a background in higher education and wellness.
Seniors chosen as commencement speakers
Seniors Julia Geller and Durran Thompson have been selected to give the student addresses. The ceremony is scheduled for May 13 at CSB and 14 at SJU.

Students race to finish line in annual triathlon
Participants competed in a fruit-themed triathlon on Saturday. Swimming took place in the Warner Palaestra Pool, and the triathletes ran and biked across Collegeville. Participation doubled from last year.
Best Buy CEO and CSB alumna sponsors student scholarship
With the support of CSB alumna Corie Barry, the Barry Family/Best Buy Scholars program will be available to four Bennie students yearly. The renewable scholarship will max out at $20,000 per student, per year.
Full Circle Greenhouse celebrates 10 years of growth
The passive, solar and student-run greenhouse produces a variety of vegetables, greens and herbs during the academic year. The greenhouse is scheduled to be moved to a new location at CSB over the summer.
Honors class unveils discriminatory community histories
Professor Brittany Merritt Nash's honors class has spent the spring semester researching underrepresented stories. Three groups, with topics ranging from LGBTQ+ students and the Catholic church to racial covenants in Stearns County, concluded their projects this week.
Students to present Bahamian climate justice film
Extending the Link will premiere their documentary on Thursday, April 27.
