Sisters plan to raise funds for charity during Catholic Sisters Week
Catholic Sisters Week will feature a collaboration with national charity Laundry Love. Laundry Love partners with local laundromats to wash clothing of low-income individuals and families. The Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict hope to raise $500 for the organization.
St. Ben’s Monastery elects 18th prioress
Sister Karen Rose will take office on June 4. She will serve as prioress for six years.

Multicultural Student Services and the history department hosted historian Crystal Moten to speak on her book "Continually Working: Black Women, Community Intellectualism, and Economic Justics in Postwar Milwaukee" as part of Black History Month at CSB+SJU.
Bonner Associate Director to move on from CSB+SJU after eleven years
Adia Zeman Theis, the Bonner Leader Program's associate director for community leadership initiatives, is leaving her position. The 2012 CSB graduate started working for CSB+SJU immediately after graduating as a member of the Bonner program's first-ever class.

Krewe owner shares meal, history with students
Mateo Mackbee (LEFT), owner and chef of the St. Joseph restaurant Krewe, cooked for around 80 students at the McKeown Center on Sunday night. He shared stories behind his recipes and other personal experiences.
Winter storm keeps students home, but still in class
An impending blizzard led adminstrators to stop Link busing between campuses and move classes online on Wednesday and Thursday. This marks the first time virtual classes have replaced in-person learning on a snow day since the policy was implemented in 2021.
CSB named as a top school for Fulbright scholars
The 2022 class of Fulbright scholars included five Bennies and one Johnnie. The Fulbright program provides graduated students merit-based scholarships to travel, study, research and teach while abroad.
Presentation examines racial history of CSB+SJ
History Professor Brittany Merritt Nash spoke on the integration of students of color and subsquent history of racism at the institutions during a Black History Month event. Topics included treatment of Black students and the 1970 occupation of the President's Office.
Former campus radio station revamped
In the basement of Guild Hall, the forgotten KJNB radio station will be open for student use. The music library holds thousands of tracks.
