A warm Thanksgiving invitation

This is the opinion of Joesph Webb, CSB+SJU Chief of Staff

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I am reminded of how deeply our Catholic and Benedictine values call us to live lives of gratitude, hospitality, and community. This season offers a special opportunity to extend those values beyond our campuses and to care for one another as members of one shared community.

In that spirit, I would like to extend a heartfelt invitation to any student who does not have a place to go for Thanksgiving to join my family and me for Thanksgiving dinner at our home. It would be our joy to welcome you to our table and share an evening of good food, conversation, and fellowship rooted in the Benedictine spirit of “all are to be welcomed as Christ.”

If you are interested in joining us, please email me at jwebb001@csbsju.edu by Friday, Nov.ember 21, so that we can plan accordingly.

With warm regards and gratitude,

Joseph Webb
