CSB hosts powwow celebration
The Ptanyetu Powwow is held annually as a gathering of Native communities. Four years after becoming powwow co-sponsors, CSB+SJU hosted the celebration in the Haehn Campus Center for the first time.

John Klassen to step down as abbot, election to come
Klassen, a Johnnie alumni, has served as the abbot for St. John's Abbey since 2000. Klassen's time as abbot included the facilitation of projects like the construction of the Abbey Guesthouse, among others. An election for a new abbot will be held in January of 2024.
Sacred Heart Chapel celebrates 80 years since dedication
The Sacred Heart Chapel was originally dedicated in 1943. To commemorate the 80th anniversary, the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict held a procession into the Chapel, prayer service and candle lighting.

Annual Adventure Challenge takes place at SJU
The Outdoor Leadership Center held an obstacle course challenge on Oct. 22, organized by two sophomore Johnnies on the OLC staff over the last month. Students who participated formed teams and raced through the course to win prizes for first and second place.
