Student’s mental health has been on the rise. With the demands of college, it is hard to carve out time to focus on yourself. This leads to poor sleeping habits, anxiety, a weakened immune system, stress and other negative outcomes.

Counseling is one beneficial and accessible way to combat the ongoing stressors of college. CSB and SJU have counseling centers that offer support for students who need assistance with mental health and/or college life.

Currently, CSB and SJU hold Walk-In-Wednesdays, which are held from 1-3 p.m. They are first come, first serve 20-minute counseling sessions. The counseling centers are located in Mary Hall 010 at SJU and Lottie Hall 010 at CSB. Appointment sessions are also offered from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. To schedule an appointment, call (320) 363-3236. We encourage you to check out the counseling center or make an appointment.

College life is stressful, but you do not have to go through it alone. Don’t be afraid to reach out for help.
