Celebrating Scholarship and Creativity Day: be there, be curious, be inspired
Letter to the Editor
Dear CSB+SJU community,
On Thursday, April 30, students across both campuses will share the projects, research and creative work they’ve been developing throughout the year during Celebrating Scholarship & Creativity (CSC) Day.
CSC Day is a great opportunity to support your friends and classmates as they present work they’re proud of. Even just stopping by a session or poster can mean a lot and helps create a campus culture that celebrates student achievement.
It’s also a great way to explore new interests. You can drop into sessions across a wide range of topics and discover ideas you may not have encountered in a classroom. Not sure if you’d ever present at CSC Day? Attending now is one of the best ways to see what it’s all about and start picturing yourself doing it
in the future. You’ll get a feel for how sessions run, what kinds of projects are featured, and how students bring their work to life.
Event Schedule
8:15 a.m. – CSC Day Kickoff & Awards (Upper Gorecki)
8:30–10 a.m. – Large Poster Session (Upper Gorecki)
10 a.m.–12 p.m. – Morning Concurrent & Departmental Poster Sessions
1–2:30 p.m. – Departmental Poster Sessions
1–5 p.m. – Afternoon Concurrent Sessions
7 p.m. – Extending the Link (Stephen B. Humphrey Theater)
Show up when you can and learn something new and support your community! You might even leave with an idea for your own future project.
Mark your calendar for April 30 and be part of the celebration. The CSC Day searchable schedule will be LIVE on April 23 to start planning your CSC Day experience!
Sincerely,
Roseann Baisley, External Engagement & Undergraduate Research Program Manager
