St. John’s performs controlled burn to rid invasive species
On a three-year cycle, the St. John's Abbey Arboretum as part of Outdoor U performs a burn to preserve the native species and limit the spread of invasive species, such as buckthorn, knapweed and wormwood sage.
Leadership team forms interfaith scripture study on Benedictine Values
The Interfaith Leadership Team created a study called "Benedictine Values for All," in which students from any faith or spiritual background can participate. They plan to study texts from the Quran, Torah and Bible.

CSB+SJU incrementally increase tuition
CSB+SJU's tuition will increase next year by 3.5% due to inflation and staff salaries. For current students, Academic Achievement or merit-based scholarships will not adjust with the increase in tuition, though incoming students will receive adjusted scholarships.
