I’ve generally found that it works better NOT to make statements like this in public and just let people figure it out for themselves.

Also worth noting that regardless of health situations, a paleolithic/primal diet isn’t sustainable on any significant scale, and isn’t likely to become so unless we start farming on other planets.

Sigh. The Occupy Wall Street movement is actually much more in line with the American Dream than Mr. Stewart-Hester here gives them credit for. There are quite a few recent studies and graphs showing that income inequality has risen considerably in recent years. Here’s one of them: http://www.epi.org/publication/bp331-occupy-wall-street/. If the American Dream means that hard work is rewarded with earned wealth, then it shouldn’t be the case to see the vast majority of Americans work hard to earn less. The so-called 99% doesn’t “not care about the American dream and think they are entitled to live comfortably without exerting any effort.” Rather, they are asking for the chance to live comfortably as a result of their efforts- not to be ignored and patronized by those who will dismiss them as lazy or un-American.

There are plenty of legitimate complaints that can be made about the Occupy protests. Dismissing their concerns as a harmful byproduct of socialism, laziness, and self-esteemia is not one of them.

Remember movements can take a long time to clarify their goals and achieve success. The women,s suffrage started in 848 and women,s national right to vote was not passes until 1920—it took 70 years!!!
